The key points for using FAIRY are:

• FAIRY provides support for all languages in all browsers on all platforms. Bi-directional and complex languages (e.g. Arabic and Indic) are supported.
• FAIRY provides support for using OpenType, TrueType, Type 1, Bitmap and vector fonts in most browsers, such as Navigator, Internet Explorer and Opera on Windows and Macintosh.
• FAIRY is small and fast. For example, the plug-in needed to view fonts in Netscape is only 30-60KB in size.
• FAIRY is easy to install. It's a single binary.
• FAIRY is easy to use. Simply publish HTML 4.0 and CSS level 2 web pages with Unicode text on your server. No extra processing of the pages is required.
• FAIRY is available for IIS, PWS on Windows 98/Me/NT/2000/XP, and for Apache on many Unix platforms (Mac OS X, Linux, Solaris).
• FAIRY produces high quality pages, using typographical features like font smoothing/gray-scaling and kerning.
